The Victorian ladies invented this method of preserving the lavender from their gardens and one photo shows a bit of how I make these using 30 shades of double-sided satin ribbon. This listing gives you 50% off of the per each price for ten medium lavender wands made with real lavender I grow here on the central coast of California.
Lavender wands can only be made while the lavender flowers are still on the stems and the stems can be bent without breaking so the flowers fill the end of the finished wand.
Too soon and the flowers will not dry properly, too late and the stems break instead of bend.
This means they can only be made for a few months every summer!

Occasionally roll the woven end gently between your hands to refresh the release of the wonderful scent of the flowers inside. The wand itself will last for many years, I have even seen a photo of a 40 year old wand with the caption that it still held the aroma of lavender.

Each medium sized wand is 10" inches in length. Each one slightly is different as these are handmade from plant materials.
